The Cocking Effort and Trigger
You need to be able to think clearly and consciously about the trigger performance, or the cocking abilities
You don’t want something that fires off course too easily.
The Hammerli 850 AirMagnum air rifle's trigger performance is unbeatable.
The HAM team performed the test to determine the trigger's capability, and the results were incredible.
Hammerli 850 features a cock on-opening bolt action.
You will be able to manage it very easily.
This means that Hammerli 850 is ideal for young shooters as well as less physically-strong adults.
Even at a lower pull weight (just 1 lb), the rifle doesn't accidentally fire.
The Hammerli 850 AirMagnum air gun is therefore safe for use.
The trigger pull is smooth and consistent.
It is important to note that the rifle will not be able to be retrieved during shooting if it is snatched.
The Hammerli 850's bolt action works just like a firearm, which is quite amazing.
This is the main attraction that you have towards the rifle.
Hammerli 850 would be a great addition to your collection if you are a veteran or have an interest in real firearms.
As you close the stroke, the bolt will become a bit bulky and rough.
But, maybe with time as you use the rifle, it’ll become smoother.
There is nothing wrong with having an action like this — it’s just something you’ll get used to.
Hammerli 850 AirMagnum wood stock can be synthesized.

You can also add green fiber optics on a sliding ramp — all you need is a screwdriver to make the change.
This post will provide more information about the various types of airgun sights available and which one you should choose.
Accuracy and speed
Umarex Hammerli AirMagnum 850 took into account your concerns regarding accuracy.
Because it is not able to fulfill the requirement for a minimum number shots per fill, the speed of a CO2 gas rifle cannot be compared with real guns.
The multi-shot ability and lack of recoil can be considered at a low price, with simple features and appearance.
The Umarex Hammerli AirMagnum 850 has been tested by the HAM Team at 65° Fahrenheit. These are the results.
Pellet Muzzle Velocity-Average Muzzle Energy-Average Accuracy Gamo Raptor Platinum 9.7 Grain 674 fps 9.8 ft/lbs GOOD H & N field target trophy green 14.66 grain 668 fps 9.9 ft/lbs GOOD RWS hobby 11.9 grains 640 fps 10.8 ft/lbs EXCEPTIONAL Crosman premier HP 14.3 grain 606 fps 11.7 ft/lbs EXCELLENT JSB Jumbo exact 14.35 grain 610 fps 11.9 ft/lbs BEST TESTED H&N field target trophy 14.66 grain 609 fps 12.1 ft/lbs EXCELLENT H&N Barracuda match 21.14 grain 519 fps 12.6 ft/lbs GOOD ONE FLYER
Because CO2-powered air guns are so temperature dependent, the muzzle velocity is a complex topic.
The CO2 pressure rises with increasing temperature.
Because the temperature is increasing by 2 degrees Fahrenheit, the muzzle velocity will also increase as CO2 levels rise.
Pellet Calculated Muzzle Velocity at 67F-Average Muzzle Velocity Calculated at 75 F.Average Calculated Muzzle Velocity at 90F-Average Gamo Raptor Platinum 9.7 Grain 674 fps 690 fps 720 fps H & N field target trophy green 14.66 grain 668 fps 684 fps 714 fps RWS hobby 11.9 grains 640 fps 656 fps 686 fps Crosman premier HP 14.3 grain 606 fps 622 fps 652 fps JSB Jumbo exact 14.35 grain 610 fps 626 fps 656 fps H&N field target trophy 14.66 grain 609 fps 625 fps 655 fps H&N barracuda match 21.14 grain 519 fps 535 fps 565 fps
The result of increased muzzle velocity combined with an increase temperature is clearly shown in the table.
The growth is still limited and it is impossible to say that it will grow indefinitely.
At around 95 degrees Fahrenheit, there is increased pressure in the “valve lock”, and the muzzle velocity begins to fall very quickly.
It is therefore accurate to say that CO2-powered air rifles can shoot at a maximum temperature of 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
Manufacturers recommend that after heating your valve lock, it cool down.
This will reduce the pressure and allow you shoot again.
